Matriarch Paraphonic Unison behavior for 4 voice mode

Post by rayhoo » Sun Oct 27, 2024 11:29 am

Hi All,

I am a new Matriarch user and would like to clarify the use of the Paraphonic Unison behavior for 4 voice mode.

In the Global Settings I have set " Paraphonic Unison" to "on".

For the 2 voice mode all is as described in the User Manual.

However, for the 4 voice I get a different behavior.
the User Manual states:
" With the switch set to VOICE MODE 4, adding a third note assigns a new pitch to Oscillator 3, and adding a fourth note assigns a new pitch to Oscillator 4"

However, I get the following behavior:
1 key pressed: uses all the 4 osc
2 keys pressed: as 2 voice mode. osc1/osc2 to first key and osc3/4 to second key
3 keys pressed: osc1/osc2 on first key pressed, second key osc3, third key osc4
(--> so a new pitch got assigned to osc4, instead of osc3 (from the UM))
4 keys pressed: first key osc1, second key osc3, third key osc4, fourth key osc2
(--> so a new pitch got assigned to osc2, instead of osc4 (from the UM))

Could someone please clarify?
