need help getting a sound

Hi I am new to synths I am a bass player and I have a LP and a Voyager RME hooked up to Roland pk5 pedals to use like Taurus pedals this is working great.

I am having a problem finding a sound used by the band Rush. It is the sound you hear in the beginning of YYZ and also Red Barchetta. I am looking to use the RME for this sound and the LP for my Taurus bass sound.

The sound will be overlaying the Taurus sound and played at the same time useing the Roland pk5 foot pedals hooked up via midi this Ialready have working Ijust can`t seem to get the sound I described earlyer.

I was able to get the sound I was looking for by changing the filter to 2 pole mode 12db to emulate the Oberhiem then I sweetend the string sound by routing the LFO to waveshaping to get a PWM effect.

Someone on Music player .com gave me the addvice and it worked out realy great
