Ring Modulator for bass?
I'm thinking of getting a Ring modulator for my bass, Does anyone have any views on it whether its good or bad etc? Maybe a possible sound clip

Ringmodulation is a great effect for any instrument AFAIC. It gives you metallic distortions/overtones and or tremolo effects. Get it and any other Moogerfooger and I promise you will not be able to get the possibilities of modular fx/synthesis out of your head. You will always want more, more, more, more, more.................

I second this. There is bass with ring mod all over Squarepusher's Ultravisitor album. I don't think he uses a moogerfooger, but its still a good example of what bass with ring mod sounds like.Impossible Sound wrote:Personally, I like the sound.
