Contact cleaner for MInimoog Model D

Hello everyone. Glad to be a new member of this excellent forum.

I've got a Model D whose key contacts are in dire need of cleaning. I know that Moog originally recommended Cramolin contact cleaner for the purpose but this stuff is manufactured in Europe and doesn't seem to be available here in the States. Does any one know of any good alternatives that are widely available here in the US?

I appreciate any help I get and look forward to helping others with their queries whenever I can.

I use denatured alcohol with good results. Don't used isopropyl or rubbing alcohol, they leave behind a film on the surface.

Keep it away from sources of heat or flame as it is flammable.

Check out Caig.com, they do an AV emergency kit which comprises all the items you need to clean your mini . . . they even supply a testimonial from a minimoog end user showing you how it's done.

Stay away from Radio Shack's contact cleaner.

Thanks so much everyone for all the great tips. The CAIG Survival Kit looks like a great idea for my purposes, so I'll probably go with that. I've got other equipment that needs maintenance (including a chockful-o-pots Oberheim Four Voice) so it will definitely go to good use. Thanks again to all who replied for making my first Moog Music Forum experience a good one.
