Straight Up Newb Question About Minitaur & a Moogerfooger
This is completely hypothetical. If you weren't in love with the Minitaurs LPF, could you route the signal to an MF-101 to take advantage of its filter instead? Would that even make sense from a technical standpoint?

Of course. The MF lowpass can switch from 2 to 4 pole, changing the slope and resonance character,
and the signal can be overdriven
(you can route the headphone out to the ext in on the Mtr, but the overdriven filters will probably still sound a bit different),
or use the extra envelope follower out to connect to the minitaur cv ins
(which you can route to a huge amount of Mtr parameters, interesting)
Just open the filter cutoff all the way and turn down the resonance to get a clean osc sound.
any Mf is a nice addition/expansion to a minitaur, don't forget to experiment with the cv outs on the back

Technically you can do it, however don't forget that MTR's filter comes with built-in:ARNKUS wrote:This is completely hypothetical. - envelope with adjustable positive/negative amount
- LFO with adjustable amount
- keyboard tracking adjustment
- velocity sensitivity adjustment
If you want to replicate above features with MF-101 you will certainly need something more equipment/cables to achieve it.
Minitaur / MF Delay / MF Trem / CP-251 / Mac Mini / OS X 10.11.6
