triplets?

Post by tedreedy » Thu Oct 20, 2016 3:32 pm

Hi, has anyone figured out a good way to get triplets, when synced to MIDI clock... as the Tempo knob only does 1/2 beat divisions. 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc

I also tried applying a CV to the Tempo CV control, but when synced to MIDI clock this still only controls 1/2 divisions.

I can theoretically turn off MIDI clock and do it by ear, but it won't be 100% accurate and I have to change it every time my Cubase sequence changes tempo, so it'd be nice to get this working....

Thanks!

Curious of this as well. Though you can obviously imply triplet patterns with accents of three note patterns etc. though still not with while also using 8th vs triplets...

I am pretty sure if you use Ratcheting with 3 steps you get tripplets.

True, this works to create a triplet repeat of any step in the sequence.

However, does not solve the issue of playing back a particular programmed sequence as triplets.
