Anyway unless my eyes deceive me there didn't appear to be a "try this" thread.
To get the ball rolling (apologies if more obvious to non-noobs):
1) I found it really useful to download a FFT/spectral analyser App for my phone - especially useful in seeing what happens eg when one hits sweet spots on eg resonance/filter. I also found the oscilloscope app interesting - although it didnt seem to show very accurate waveforms (this may me as was using the onboard mic so listening to the speaker not the pure signla output from the m32?)
2) this is a paid for course but I have found Rishabh Rajan's course really simple and clear
3) these two youtubes gave me some feel for the whole "just keep experimenting" approach to working with modulars Daniel Miller Modular Synth Masterclass at LEAF 2013 and Scott's Modular Synth Clinic | Introductory Class. Mind you I also found it a bit depressing if these experts generally get something "interesting" but that you wouldnt want to listen to for too long

Anyway am sure you folks have plenty of better Tips&Tricks
