MIDI CC
Is there any plan to implement MIDI CC response in the new Model D (similar to that in the Minitaur)?
Original Model D, Taurus 1, Taurus 3, Source, Minitaur, Voyager RME, One 16 voice
Re: MIDI CC
I don't think this is technical possible.
If the knobs on the panel are hard wired to the analog CV boards, there is no way of cutting these lines and apply a digital to analog converted control CV to these boards via some MIDI date like CC. They just include the basic MIDI operational features hardware wise.
The newer Moog gear with full MIDI CC features are built in a different electronic design. There the knobs are measured by some A/D converter and then turned into data. This data is mixed or over written by external data. And this data mix is then transferred into the analog world by some D/A converter and feed into the analog circuits.
