Hi!
Im new with the voyager and im used to the sub37's routing so i tried to add vibrato to the aftertouch like you can do using one of the sub's mod. Busses.
I have tried a bunch of routes but no gives me that pleasing soft vibrato. (I dont want to use the aftertouch as shaping for an already ongoing modulation)
One thing i did notice is how sensitive the aftertouch is! I tried to rout (pot mapping) the aftertouch to the key pitch and it went nuts! I can control pitch but there is a lot of noise and it is really sensitive. Tried it with the filter cutoff as well and it is the same thing noise!
Is there a way to smooth out the aftertouch so it does not react tho everything?
Is there a way to add vibrato through aftertouch without already having a little modulation going on?
If not, is the sub37's mod matrix so superior to the voyager and isn't it just a question of software?
(I bought the voyager due to reliability issues with the sub37)

Re: Aftertouch noise.
Hi. I am also new to the Voyager. Had it for two days. Mine has a switch to turn aftertouch on/off. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what it does. Located right above the pitch/mod wheels. So to "smooth it out" you might consider turning it off and using the Decay + Sustain knobs to get what you want.
As for vibrato, well, that is by definition a pitch variance. You could do this manually by playing the pitch/tuner knob. Or, you could use the pitch wheel. But I think the mod wheel actually gets a really nice vibrato with the right settings.
Just some thoughts which may be wrong.

It was a problem with the digital board. Got it changed but there was still problems with the sound. Having an Old School now. Much smoother!
