Sub 37 problem with Logic pro x

Post by Lukeg83 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 4:43 pm

Hi I just bought a sub 37 and love it but got a problem :)

Im using Logic pro X with it to record the Sub 37 and its been going well but now when I hit record the Sub 37 sounds Distorted and the sound changes and sounds horrible and when I press stop record it goes back to my original sound. Also the Midi light seems to be flashing red all the time, as soon as I load up Logic not sure if that's anything to do with it.

Hope someone can help me as I so want to get back on making tunes

Luke

This seems to me like a problem with MIDI feedback.

Try turning the Local control to OFF on your synth before recording. I don't use Logic and don't have my Sub 37 around, but I do see that there is some information in page 45 of the manual.

Ok thankyou it seems to be fine now but my Midi light on the Moog is still flashing red all the time when i have logic up. MIDI messages must be getting sent to the sub 37 but not sure how to stop this any ideas?

Maybe Logic is set to send MIDI clock to the Sub 37?
