Can the Mother-32 be polychained with a Sub37 to add more voices. For example, If I purchased three M32 modules can I conceivably have a 4-voice sub37? Sorry if this has been covered but I've searched everywhere and can't see to find anyone to confirm or refute. Thanks Moogers!!

Mother-32 Polychain Sub37
Re: Mother-32 Polychain Sub37
Ok so apparently the Sub37 and Mother are not designed to be polychained in a traditional sense like the Slim Phattys. That bums me out. Hopefully Moog will see the value in releasing modules to add oscillators/polyphony to the Sub37 line. Oh well, the wait continues.
Of course, you CAN use the Sub37 to send the sequencer out via MIDI to the MIDI IN on the Mother, and then, in turn, send the VCO of the Mother to the AUDIO IN on the Sub37 to add the Mother's VCO to the 37's two oscillators & sub oscillator. Cool and all but not what I was hoping.

Re: Mother-32 Polychain Sub37
You will be able to send midi out of your sub37 to the midi in on mom and then feed the audio or vco out from mom to your S37 ext in ( for the three osc Mini Moog jam) or in to your outboard mixer.
Re: Mother-32 Polychain Sub37
I'm going to add to this. Last night as I was responding I got side tracked and never got back.
I don't think M32 will polychain in the traditional way. M32 seems to be less digitally controlled than lets say S37 or Minitaur (I could be wrong) But from what has been described and not having USB at all I'm guessing it's more like a werkstatt with a digitally controlled sequencer. I guess the assignable cv out would also have to have some sort of digital control. I just don't see mom as having knob per knob sync that would give you true polychain capabilities.
Then again if I rethink this if it has MIDI to c/v It just might have the capabilities.
So I guess if I bottom line it it could be said WTF do I know.

There are some tricks you can do with note priority to rig up polyphony across mono instruments.
