Best stand for Sub37?

Hello I need to get a stand for the Sub37, just a single keyboard stand that is sturdy and looks decent.

I've spotted this Hercules one and heard good things on the Phatty forum from Sub Phatty users about the fit.

Before I take the plunge I wanted to see if there are any alternatives I should consider?

Thanks guys....

They are good stands. I have used them in the past for 61 key kbrds. I imagine it should fit a Sub 37 just fine. I currently use this On Stage Stand: On-Stage Stands KS8290 Lok-Tight Pro Single-X ERGO-LOK

Howdy... I use a similar Z type stand: On Stage KS7350 Pro Heavy Duty Folding Z Keyboard Stand. It is extremely sturdy and is adjustable so the width fits inside the rubber feet of my sub 37. I would recommend this type of stand

The problem with most X stands is that they aren't narrow enough to hold a moog, at a seated height.

I ended up getting this one and it's been rock solid.

Stellar Labs 555-13830 Heavy Duty Keybo ... 7vbJNFX9BD

A great point. I failed to mention that I only use the stand I recommended at gigs.

I figured 98% of you guys play standing up, I just wanted to throw that out there in case there are any guys who sit, like me.

I have both my Kronos and Sub 37 on Z stands. I play seated. I have never liked X stands - find they bounce too much. The Z stand I have for the Sub 37 is a permanent style Z that I got for about $50 - I think presonus, and it's solid a a rock.

I think the main questions are:

1) do you play standing or seated? (If I was standing, I'd go spider)
2) do you have to break down the gear to gig, or is it relatively permanent? (Breakdown, I'd go hercules Z)
3) do you need tiers? (spider again)
4) How much will you spend? (At some price point, it is better to go modular)

Good points.....

I play seated, its never used to gig, I don't need tiers as its my only synth, nothing too pricey but good quality within reason... (what are modular options?)

Many thanks for all the suggestions everybody...

if you play seated, at home, get the one I sent. It's rock solid, and $40

PS It really does look rock solid with the triangular construction - everything else looks rattly by comparison!

By modular, I meant the kind (like Gibraltar) where you build your own configuration out of their tubes, and various connectors. You order the pieces you need and they all go together. Not at all portable and a bit expensive. Popular amongst drummers, but you can usually order keyboard configurations too. I thought about doing it, but my Hercules Z is fine considering price.

Those Gibraltar components look interesting. I've been looking for a dual tier stand for my Sub 37 and Sub P that will fit in the corner. Building my own may be the best way to go.

I bought a Gator Frameworks heavy duty table stand for sitting at. Then I build a custom shelf to sit on top which houses the Sub 37 which has an angled top shelf above to hold pedals and drum machine. Really nice having the other gear close by but it's a studio only setup.
