I was really excited that the new firmware allowed the Moog Sub 37's sequencer or arpeggiator to advance via a trigger from a drum machine, (aka 'the SH-101 bounce') but so far I haven't been able to get this to work

I have an acidlab miami which send out a 12v accent trigger, which doesn't do anything to the Sub 37. If I try to trigger from the rimshot or cowbell instead, the Sub 37s sequencer will advance, but only sometimes / randomly, which isn't much fun.
In the manual the Sub 37 states it requires a 5v trig, so I have two questions:
1) Shouldn't a 12v trig be able to step a 5v trig?
2) I know that the most famous drum machine, the tr-808, and the Miami both send out 12v triggers, so what 'drum machines' might Moog be referring to when they advertise this feature? (ie, which drum machines send out a 5v trigger?)
thanks,
RP
