Sub Phatty not working on DAWs

Hello everyone, I have a serious problem when using my Sub Phatty in my DAWs of choice.
I'll briefly explain: when I load an external instrument track in Live 9, the software seems to send crazy midi messages to the Phatty, it plays random notes and then switch silent. It kind of freezes and if I turn any knobs or push any buttons anything happens. Same thing happens on Logic X, I'm really desperate because I need to finish several tracks and I can't use my favourite synth on them.
This problem would occur once in a while when I was on Snow Leopard running Live 8 and Logic 9. Now it just got bigger.
Also if I load the vst/au librarian, it does not see the hardware and the DAW itself freezes and/or crashes.

Anyone? I tried to filter the input midi signals in Logic, but the only way not to hear random noises coming through my Sub Phatty is to filter midi notes, which obviously does not make any sense.
Could it be a firmware issue? I'm seriously worried.

My SubPhatty does spit out a lot of random midi cc's which aren't listed in the manual.
I tested this at a friends house while using ableton, where we recorded all incoming midi signals from the SP.

I use Renoise in my studio and didnt have any trouble though
