After a long session with the Moog last night, I've started to experience some really odd problems that I believe are centered around the filter. I've included a link to a sound file that should (hopefully) convey the issue. Basically is sounds like the filter is "stuck." I can hear the oscillators but only at a very low volume. The volume envelope seems to be working correctly. I was using an expression pedal with the CV input on the filter and am wondering if somehow the CV input is "stuck." Sorry I'm not the best with describing the technical terms.
Just to describe what the audio file has:
I had just loaded the Init Parameters Preset and switch it to ""On/External" triggering
1-8 Seconds: You can hear the 1st oscillator sounding and I open and close the filter. The initial sound you hear is the filter ALL the way open.
9-28 Seconds: This is weirdest sounding thing of all. Filter is again, all the way open and I am moving the "Amount to Filter" knob. It seems that around -28 or so on the display it makes this really weird screeching sound.
28 seconds-end: Resonance knob is all the way up and the filter is self oscillating however its doing some sort of odd vibrato as if the LFO is modulating it but its not.
Is there anything I can do on my end to try to fix this? I live in Cullowhee (about 45m from Asheville) and wouldn't mind bringing it up there but I'd love to be able to fix this on my own if its something simple I am overlooking. I have a project I'm trying to get delivered by tomorrow and I really would like to use the Voyager on it.
Thanks a lot for your help in advance.
