Importing old presets

Post by emanresu » Fri May 02, 2014 9:08 am

How can I import my old presets into the latest version of the Minitaur editor?
The files are listed as .Presets and not .Syx.
Even if I change the file to Syx it still isn't showing up on the new editor.

57 views and no one has answered. I have the same problem. Anyone knows how to convert old presets format?. I suspect using software like midi ox would be the answer, but how?

I haven't played with it but have you tried renaming the file extension? Might get lucky.

I used old editor to bounce all my patches to minitau. Then I bounced those patches from minitaur to the new editor. I don't think new editor supports old patches.

Thx bellay, great suggest. I used minitaur editor version 2.1 to save presets to minitaur (it worked with that version!) and then capture into version 3.0. I have my old presets back!.
