The red TIME LED shows not the real time of the delay (like the LFO RATE LED does correctly) - also the time setting via TAP DELAY is not correctly displayed. I played around with different MIDI settings - so maybe I enabled/disabled something? ... can't find it - I disconnected MIDI and made a power on reset... without any change. Also the manual gives no answer... Anyone can help

thanks

IIRC, the TIME LED can show the LFO rate so that it can be taped.
IIRC even more, holding the TAP footswitch toggle between the two modes.

Could be the tap division settings?
Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.

Thanks for answering...
What I'm searching for is an advice for an initial setting (like a factory setting) - is it possible to reset the whole moogerfooger. I'm searching for an operation which is reproducible...

Looks like you will need to make a memory setting file that you could run to set everything to a known starting position. I use TouchOSC to do this with other pedal (cluster flux)... There are other software solutions too... All will need some time to create.
Like you said, the manual isn't clear what is default when it ships...

seems to be this bug:
http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19406 ...
When you tap in a tempo, then engage modulation, the delay time defaults to the max "knob time" available in the currently selected mode (long/short). But you can then retap a tempo and make the delay time longer than the "max allowable." Once you turn the modulation amount all the way back down to zero, the delay time LED does not reflect the actual tempo of the delay. This is all very confusing. Moog tech support told me it's a bug in the firmware that needs to be fixed, that they also saw in testing on their end.
So I'm looking forward to a firmware update! (could anyone from Moog Music give us an idea of the release date ? ? ? Thanks)

I've been asking Moog to fix the firmware since summer 2012.
They obviously don't really care that it doesn't work.
