Paper on Moog-synths?
Paper on Moog-synths?
I`m writing a paper on Moog-stuff, and the impact they`ve had on the music industry... Wondering if anyone else have allready written something like this, and if so; could I have a look?

Analog Days
You should really have a look at this excellent book.
Analog Days: The Invention and Impact of the Moog Synthesizer
by Frank Trocco, Trevor Pinch, Robert Moog

I have written a book on the subject, called "Synthesizers". It was published by Kluwer Technische Boeken, but it is in Dutch. Now - judging by your username - you might be Dutch, so maybe that's an option.
Edmund: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yeah, it's like goldy & bronzy, only it's made of iron.

The book was published in 1984 and is no longer on the market. If you would like to have a look at it, perhaps we can arrange something. I only have two copies myself (it sold about 8,000 in Holland, which is really good I think) so I'm not keen on lending it out, but we could get an exchange of thoughts set up through mail, if you're interested.
The book covers analogue synthesis. When you read it, you should be able to work with any kind of analogue setup, be it hard-wired or modular. The funny thing is that the publisher wanted a list and pictures of models from that time. It covers some 40 reviews and pictures from synths, some very esoteric, like the Polykobol (french) and the Synton Syrinx.
