Is there a reason why everytime I power up the minitaur, and my DAW, (ableton live etc), that I have to reset the modwheel to "zero" every time I change a patch with the editor? Even with the VCO amt and VCF amt knobs down all the way? Really annoying.... Running latest firmware update....
It's just every time I change a patch, I can't even hear it without modulation, which I am not actively sending. My master keyboard has the mod wheel down all the way, but I have to jog it down just to malke the patch playable....
Having to RESET Mod wheel
Re: Having to RESET Mod wheel
there's a global parameter to load saved modwheel value with each preset, or not.
The Minitaur always starts with "mod wheel" parameter at maximum, in case you aren't using a controller with a mod wheel (they definitely exist)... but if you want the last mod-wheel value to persist when changing presets, just set "load saved mod wheel" parameter to OFF.
you'll be able to do this easily with the new editor, currently in development... until then, you can send this sysex file:
