Is it possible to toggle LFO KB TRIG direction(up vs. down?)

Post by digilog » Thu Aug 01, 2013 6:57 am

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the direction of the LFO KB Trigger on a LP Stage II?
I am trying to sync the LFO on my LP Stage II with both MIDI clock and KB Trigger, AND I'd like the LFO to begin on the upward traveling part of its waveform.

Currently:
Sync works (LFO rate is a subdivision of the tempo feeding the LP via Logic)
KB Trigger works (LFO begins cycle with every MIDI note on message)
however, I noticed the the LFO always starts on the downward portion of its waveform.
Sometimes I'd like it to start on the upward portion.

Can that behavior be toggled?

Thanks

Sorry Digilog, I was kind of lazy on this one.

In the case you're using your Phatty with a MIDI software, I think it may be possible to process the LFO CC so that it affects any parameter of the Phatty the way you want.

no, you were right the first time. :)

if the universe permits, I'll see if I can add phase control to the LFO, which is what you need. For now though, the LFO resets to a certain position (or phase) on reset, which is not adjustable.

Thanks Amos.

I certainly aware of the unavailability of this feature, but I was lazy on suggesting a workaround to our friend.

The phase control would be great. I'll be thanking the universe in advance in the forecoming days :)
