Hi,
I would like to know if the minitaur works with an external arpeggiator. I really like the Novation Impulse 49 and since it has a built-in arpeggiator, I really consider buying one of these or any other midi keyboard with an arpeggiator.
Minitaur arpeggiator
Re: Minitaur arpeggiator
It works.
Don't forget that MT can't play notes higher than C3.

Re: Minitaur arpeggiator
I use an Impulse 49 as my primary controller with my Moog gear and DAW.
It's a great controller, and the arpeggiator is cool to use.
However, one (rather big) caveat:
The Impulse series can sync to external MIDI clock, but it can NOT "send" MIDI clock.
SO, while you can definitely use the arpeggiator with the Minitaur (or basically just about any MIDI-equipped synth), you will not be able to use Impulse to clock-sync the LFO. May not be a deal breaker initially, but may come into play as your gear & music requirements expand.
Which is how I wound up with an Akai MPK25 to go along with my Novation Impulse...

Re: Minitaur arpeggiator
Thanks for the Akai suggestion Stuka! I'm not sure if I should buy a MPK49 or a Miniak. Does the Miniak has the Midi clock feature and can be used as a ''standard'' Mpk-like controller with the Minitaur? I'd like to use the arp function on the minitaur like I would do on the MPK. If so, it seems like a good deal since I get a midi controller + synth for less than the price of the MPK49.
