CV in/out via patchbay, feedback paranoia

Post by miaz » Thu Jun 13, 2013 6:42 am

ive got a Tascam P32P patchbay, and figrued i would use it to patch all the CV in and outs from my moogerfoogers (101, 103, 107) one thing with this patchbay though, is that unless theres a cable in either one of the two fron jacks, the signal will go straight through.
this wouldnt be a problem unless i needed every single channel, which i do.

made a map of the connections, and as you can see, audio out and audio in are above each other. (right click - show image)

this means if theres no cable in one of the front jacks of that channel, the signal will go straight through.
obviously the solution for this is to constantly have one plugged in, but what if i accidently pulled it out?
it would just feedback it self. i know theres a lot of feedbacking going on with moogerfoogers, but making such a short loop doesnt seem safe.

edit:
this issue is solwed. i just flipped the patchbay, so the backs in the front and vice versa.
