VX-351 Accessory Port Cable Noise Issues

Post by jupiterrex » Tue May 28, 2013 2:47 pm

Hi All

I've noticed an issue with my accessory port cable going from the VX-351 to the Voyager Performer edition. It seems to emit a hi frequency whenever I plug it in. I thought it might be a shielding issue with the output cables but when I removed all cables from the Voyager as well as all patch cables on the VX-351 and CP-251 which is also connected and running off the Voyager, the noise still persists. When I attach the cable noise when cable goes away no noise. Could the cable be defective or could the problem be a bit deeper (say a bad connection when I linked the 251 to the 351?

The CP 251 is running power of of the VX 351 ?
I recall others having the same issue , you need to power the CP from a wall wart power supply.
Good luck
