Post by LWG » Tue Oct 18, 2005 2:28 am

Polivoks bass

An actual template of the Polivoks was not used, jut a bit of the synth's character captured in a V'ger patch.

Oscillators:

Octave: Osc 1 - 16', Osc 2 - 8', Osc 3 - 32'

Wave: Osc 1 - 4 (097), Osc 2 - 4 (089), Osc 3 - 7 (198)

Freq: Osc 1 - N/A, Osc 2 - -5 (-113), Osc 3 - 0 (-3).

Mixer:

Level: Osc 1 - 9.4 (251)ON, Osc 2 - 9.4 (252)ON, Osc 3 - 7 (192)OFF

Noise - 5 OFF, External 4 (92) ON.

Filter:

Frequency - Approx.80Hz (051), Spacing - 0, Resonance - 5.5 (138),

KB Amt - 8.9 (234), Mode - LP/LP, FEG Amt - 1.2 (+42), Slope - 12db/12db,

Filter Envelope:

Attack-approx 15 mS (071), Decay - .1 sec (149), Sustain - 0, Release - 10.

Amplitude Envelope:

Attack - 5 mS (007), Decay - 10 sec, Sustain - 10, Release - 1 mS (0)

Env Gate - KB.

LFO:

Rate - .6Hz, lfo sync - OFF.

Wheel Mod Bus: Source - On/Mod2, Dest.- Filter, Shaping - On/pgm,

Amount - 8.8 (240).

Pedal Mod Bus: Source - TRI, Dest - Wave, Shaping - On/pgm,

Amount - 2.8 (049).

Glide Rate - 3.1 (070), Glide - OFF, Release - ON.

Sync - ON, 3-1 FM - OFF, 3KB CONT: ON, 3 Freq - HI.

Trigger - Single, KB mode - Low note priority.

Pot Mapping:

1) SRC-Veloc Attack, Dest-Filter Freq, Direction-Normal, Amt-25%

2) SRC-Mod Wheel, Dest-Filter Res, Direction-Normal, Amt-25%

3) SRC-Mod Wheel, Dest-Ext Audio, Direction-Normal, Amt-25%

4) SRC-Mod Wheel, Dest-Filter Decay, Direction-Inverse, Amt-25%

Pitch Bend Amt - +/- 2 semitones.

Master Volume: 7 (185)

Output config: Mono out only, no plug in right channel. Mixer feedback loop.

Pushing mod wheel forward adds more range, and squelch.

Turning on Osc 3 in mixer section adds more weight.

Just an FYI - LWG posted this patch on the SquareWave site. Could save you the trouble of dialing it in (unless you want to, of course).

Greg,

I just got aquainted with squarewave. It's nice to have another valuable resource for everyone. It's a nice compliment to the Mooger forum. I see there are a lot of patches available so that's great.

It's entirely up to LWG, but I hope he keeps posting the monthly "patch sheets" in this forum for those of us that like to dial it in manually for learning purposes.

Excellent and exciting stuff!

Glad to hear you like the SquareWave site. It's a labor of love for those involved.

I know it's a bit of a task to gather and type in all the parameters for a Voyager patch - kudos to LWG for developing some excellent patches and sharing those details with everyone here on a monthly basis!
