Upgrade problem (v2.1 to v2.5)

Post by OysterRock » Wed Oct 12, 2005 1:37 pm

Hey guys,

I finally upgraded from v2.1 to v2.5. I've noticed a problem with tuning. Sometimes when I turn on the Voyager, some patches are out of tune by a few steps. Flicking the Pitch Wheel corrects this problem. Any ides? Should I reload the OS?

P.S. Sorry if this has been covered before.

OK, I just realized this problem was just talked about! :)

I still don't see a solution. Anyone figured it out?

try reloading the OS. As it was explained to me by Moog. The older patches that were designed without alot of the update features are screwing around with the new OS software. I found this to be the case when I updated to OS 3.0. Moog told me to load the OS 3.0 in again to reinitialize the system. When I did, the pitch issue went away.

Hmmm... this didn't work. I'm switching back to v2.1 until I can figure this out. v2.1 seems to work fine. Grrrr..... :x
