controlling Animoog with M-Audio Keystation 49e?
controlling Animoog with M-Audio Keystation 49e?
I have Animoog version 2 on a 4th generation iPad. It is connected to an M-Audio Keystation 49e via the Lightening to USB camera adapter and a USB cable. The M-Audio Keystation 49e is powered by a power adapter. The keyboard doesn't show as MIDI input up under Setup in Animoog. I tried installing MidiBridge, and I can get it to show up as a MIDI input, but I haven't figured out how to make the connection from the keyboard to Animoog through MidiBridge. Should I be able to make this work?
Re: controlling Animoog with M-Audio Keystation 49e?
I can't speak to lightning, since I'm using an Ipad 2 (old gen interface), but other than that I'm using about the same setup. I'm running the camera adapter via USB to a controller, I've used my m-audio axiom 49 with a powered USB hub and that worked great (the powered hub provides power to the keyboard). I've also used a privia px-350 with the same setup, the keyboard is externally powered and I control animoog via USB/camera connector, and that has worked as well.
(I'm also not using midi bridge, they simply show up as a midi input device in animoog).

Ditto this comment...I use mine all the time sans MidiBridge.fearsells wrote:I can't speak to lightning, since I'm using an Ipad 2 (old gen interface), but other than that I'm using about the same setup.
