voyager newbie question

hi...just got my voyager and im really new to keybords and i want to download the new bank of patches...
so i have my usb midi interface i know i have to set the voyager on receive update and i downloaded the files but how do i actually send them to the voyager ?
if somebody has a link with a step by step to follow that would be great

P.S i use mac osx tiger.

Welcome to the site! Well go to this site http://www.snoize.com/ and download SysEx Librarian. Add the files (patches) to the program. Go into Master Mode in the Voyager and enable "receieve presets". Then in SysEx Librarian select the port through which the Voyager is connected to on your midi interface. Hit play! Have fun with the patches! Remember though this will competely erase a bank and any patches you may have created so back-up beforehand.

You don't have to backup the factory patches, they're stored in ROM.

And keep the SysEx ID at "1" unless you like to get frustrated if all availble patches you can get hold on are not loading
