Filter Envelope not working...

Post by jerryspecial » Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:19 am

I think my filter envelope isn't working... Just doesn't seem to trigger or respond to any of the controls.
Not sure whether I'm going crazy or whether something has gone wrong...

I did a test to use the FILTER ENV as the source for the 1st mod buss using PITCH as the DEST, and nothing happens.
As soon as I change the source to the VOLUME ENV the pitch gets modulated by the envelope and works as expected.

The Filter ENV Gate SRC is set to ENV GATE INPUT...

Not sure what else could have happened... Any ideas? Could it be a fault?

Thanks in advance!

Jerry

Contact Moog Music customer support. If it's still under warranty, they'll tell you what to do. If not, they can still help you out...

Good luck.

hey thanks.
I've already sent them an email - just waiting to hear back.
Thought I'd come here to mention the issue just in case this had happened to someone else.
It's just out of warranty unfortunately (by a few months), but I've tried reloading the OS 3.5 via sysex and nothing changed so i'm thinking I might have to send it to the auth repairer interstate to get checked out... Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet on the costs...

Did you mention in your email that it's out of warranty by only a couple of months ? They could be more understanding than you might think about that... The folks at Moog Music are usually passionate about their work, and they take pride in it.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's defective (if you read other posts on this forum, you'll notice that these things do happen, unfortunately).

Good luck and keep us posted.
