GREAT ANALOG OVERDRIVE

Post by alx002 » Wed Jun 15, 2005 8:35 pm

I have a MF104 and MF101..... and I just tried to set the drive at full clockwise : what a great Distortion: I love that compressed overdrive sound with my SG or my Fender on the CLEAN channel of my Peavey CLASSIC 50
If someone are interested I can post some Audio demo

RE OVERDRIVE

Post by alx002 » Fri Oct 14, 2005 10:47 am

HI SORRY to not have answer you before!!!

I have made some sample in WAVE format :

Guitar Gibson SG 63 plug in the MF101 then out plug in a PEAVEY CLASSIC50 2X12.

RECORD with a SM57 MIC front the HP in PROTOOLS: no eq , no compression in protools, just the Sound of the AMP.

You will listen the overdrive of the MF101 in BYPASS. The last SAMPLE5 is played with Mooger ON ( filter is on).

I miss to explain the settings:

The drive of the MF101 was to 3 a' clock....... The amp was on the CLEAN channel
