Ableton Live and LP

Hello all

Ive been using my LP as a midi controller as well as a sound source, all through ableton. On the midi out side im really just interested in using the keyboard to play riffs into Ableton.

Unfortunately the LP vol control and other knobs are controlling my softsynths / sequencer with unpredictable results! When I touch the mod wheel in particular it casues all my audio in live to stop working. Really cant figure out why / what its doing re the mod wheel - but if I could only disable the midi out from everything except the LP keyboard I think I'd be pretty happy...

ANy ideas how I could do this?

I know this is an old thread, but if you turn off "Remote" in Ableton's MIDI Preferences for the LP MIDI input, it shouldn't read CC messages, so it won't cause your soft synths to go all weird.
