Hi,
Does anyone here uses DI boxes with the unbalanced outputs of synths (Voyager or others). If so, did it solve any problems?
Ciao

What sort of problems are you referring to? I don't have a DI box but I did think of picking one up (Manely mono Tube DI) to warm up some sounds.

I used them while playing in a band through a long multi-core to the in house mixer. And the ground lift sometimes helps if you got some ground loop problems on stage.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

I have a little bit of noise in the studio. I have checked ground loops and the like.
I thought about running unbalanced signals into DI to turn them to balanced. Maybe this will solve the problem. I have checked about DI boxes and probably pick up one from Manley.

Yea I here good things about the Manely. Others are Radial Engineering (these ones might just be what your looking for) Avalon Design, TAB Funkenwerk, etc. Let us know how it goes.
