Question about MIDI
Brand new Moog Little Phatty owner, my first dive into this type of instrument. Absolutely loving it so far. Quick question, for some of the songs my band plays, we prefer to have the bass done on the Moog. Is it possible to hook up another MIDI controller across the stage so he can play those parts on that song, and on other songs I can play the Moog on my side of the stage? Basically having to keyboards/controllers hooked up to one Moog, we both wouldnt be playing at the same time though. Let me know any help is appreciated thanks!

Re: Question about MIDI
How "Long" is it? How big is the stage?Assar wrote:MIDI keyboard midi-out --->>> Long MIDI cable --->>> midi-in Little Phatty.
Don't go over 5 meters. Not with a single cable anyway.
If you need to cover more than 5 meters, use several separate cables and insert some kind of power-supplying box (any dumb midi patchbay will do) as a "relay" between cables.
MIDI is not very reliable for long distance connections.
I made the experience once (keyboards one side of the stage, modules all the way the pther side, some return cables making the round trip... roland Jd900 went crazy, among others), and didn't enjoy it
