Animoog - where do records get saved to?

First, just downloaded this and it is AWESOME. Playing pads especially .. It's so natural.

And so this feels like a dumb question but where do recordings get saved to ? I know you can save a modified instrument and this would probably save the recording, but what if I want more recordings on the same instrument? Do you just have to export every time? Thanks in advance. I am really stoked on this app!
