Moog Music Compilation?

Post by Philip A. Stranger » Fri Mar 11, 2005 5:39 am

As an independant (i.e. as of yet undiscovered and likely to remain so.) musician working with a Moog, I am eager to ...A: Hear other musicians orriginal and/or cover songs. And B: Have others hear my orriginal and/or cover songs. Is anyone interested in taking part in this? Maybe even issuing a collection of such songs.

There is a group of people who have started a CD club, Sediment, and they have released three compilations so far. Maybe, with a little nudge, and alot of subissions, they may be convinced to do a Moog-centric compilation soon? So if you would like to see this happen...bug them @

...to see what it is all about. I have submitted music and have been very pleased with the final product each time...and they just keep getting better. I suggested to them a Moog-centric collection, but they said I was the only one to have submitted any Moog stuff as of yet (My Moog covers of 'In the Summertime' by Mungo Jerry and 'Music Box', the theme from Candyman by Philip Glass appear on a special compilation of cover songs I think you can get free by submitting something). So...please, send 'em some of your Moog stuff and bug 'em...alot! Tell 'em I told you to!
