I've been wanting to pick up a new LP for a short while but can't find any regular Stage II models in AUS, only these ARE's and I'm not too keen on the limited edition design. Does anyone have one they can take a decent photo of showing true colours? The only pics on the net are photoshopped ala



A small thing, but i wouldn't mind seeing a real one while deciding if it's worth buying or waiting for more Stage II stock to be imported by the local distro.

Why wouldn't you want the ARE? It has the cv out mod. If you buy the ARE I'll trade you my standard stage ii

I'm in the same boat.

I'm waiting for the black endpanel Stage IIs to arrive in Australia.

Was enquiring about them at a few music stores and they offered to sell my a ARE for the same price as the Stage II (which is a very good deal), but I don't need all the CV options and I REALLY don't like the black markings on the back panel & the flashing pitch/mod wheels, so just going to wait.
