Pulse Width Modulation

Post by djfood » Fri Apr 22, 2011 5:07 pm

hello guyz !!!

yo, in the user manual when they introduce the VCO >>> they talk about the pulse wave osc and let us think that we can operate some PWM...
question is how can we do it??? (they dont explain the details in the manual);;;;

i also heard cross modulation is possible but dont really know how to preciely do it (in fact i think different people call different operation "cross Mod") , do u have it for me "a la Moog style" ??
here is a sample of cross mod bass which is cool http://www.divshare.com/download/launch/14634149-a25

thx!

For pwm, set the waveform to about half way between square and pulse, about 3 o'clock. Set the lfo source to triangle, to start, and destination to waveform. With the phatty pwm style waveform morphing is possible with all the waveforms. Set the lfo amount so the wave stays in the squarewave region. I love waveform as a mod destination outside of the squarewave region as well.

Crossmod: Set source to Osc 2 and destination to pitch.

What is you want a mix of LFO and ENV1 to mod the wave? How would you do that?

Thanks
