I'm fairly new to the Moog world (however I have 15 years Production and Engineering to my credit), and this is my first post on the forum.... I currently have 4 pedals (lpf, 104z, Ringmod, and 12 stage phaser)... And I have just added an MP-201 to my setup.
Can anyone suggest the optimum step-up, should I be as concerned with Gainstaging pedals... Prior to purchasing the 201, I was simply flying signals out of my DAW, to a Reamp box, to what ever pedal floated my boat, into a DI, and back into my DAW.
I my now focusing on Production, and would like a better understanding of my chain, and how I should connect each box (daisy chain etc)... From a tracking standpoint... Any MTC will be generated from an MPC4000 or my DAW... I purchased the 201 after realizing CV was nothing to be too afraid of
... And knowing I'm not an octopus capable of twisting multiple knob.My apologies of this is actually in the wrong forum (mods please feel free to move if necessary)... Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated and welcome (no matter how blatantly obvious)... I have thick skin so fire away... Additional info I don't have any other Moog products... Main synth is a V-Synth and some other knickknacks.
