I want to get a two tier keyboard stand to hold my SP (about to order yea!) and an Electribe on the top tier. Everything I've found doesn't really let you independently adjust the width of the top tier separate from the bottom one (which will hold a Korg Karma).
Is there a good way to make the top tier into a shelf? I was thinking about some plywood but don't have the tools to cut and finish it.
Does anyone sell something like this that is pre-made or a stand with an upper shelf for smaller stuff? I don't have room for another desk so I need something with a small footprint.
Thanks!

Keyboard stand (2 tier) for SP+Electribe
Re: Keyboard stand (2 tier) for SP+Electribe
Something like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/2ndTierDlx/
or an A-frame stand like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AFrame3/
I don't know how sturdy this particular A-frame is or the Deluxe 2nd tier for that matter. I just posted the links to give you an idea of the type of stand that will work. I have a quik-lok double X 2 teir that is very sturdy and just picked up a used Ulitamte Support A-Frame that I like.
