I just experienced crackles and pops from filtatron for the first time. Increasing the latency didn't help, nor rebooting, but double clicking the home button and deleting everything from the multitasking menu made it go away (thankfully).
I'm new to iOS; is this a memory issue (touch 4g 32GB)?
