Hey everyone, I've just placed an SD order with Two Lines Music in Manhattan.

They ordered 8, 4 were spoken for, and that means there are 3 left as of right now.

Good luck.

Have any of you checked out the Maneco-Loopers?

These are not built in the US. I would probably have been forced to get one if Moog had not made the Z. Maneco's products seem pretty sweet because they have Expression pedal ins that could be used with cv.

available 104sd

For those of you looking for the MF-104SD, I noticed someone selling one on eBay. Good luck! I love mine!

BTW, Anyone received the MF-104Z yet? Looking to add one to my rig. My SD is not seeing any gigs!

Wow, this is driving me insane, customs have still got my SD and they plan to rape me with tax before they give me my SD :x .

can anyone post links for any dealers who still have SD's in stock? I just might order another if it is as spectacular as the price implies.

MF-104Z?

I rang the australian dealer to find out about the Z and when he thought it would come in (I had ordered one) and he said at least two weeks but if i didn't want to wait i could have one of the 2 SDs they got in (he kept the other one).
At first i said no because it was very expensive (GST adds an extra 10% to the price OUCH!!!!), but in the end i couldn't wait and thought about the longer delay time and the 250 limit.

so apparently i have one of 2 units in Australia

got it yesterday and man it's cool
It's my 1st fooger, i love it, i've been meaning to start getting the moogerfoogers for ages but have always been unsure wheather i should buy, say the filter and build up from there or save up a stupid amount of money to ensure i can out-bid everyone on ebay for an original 104
my uncertainty led me to do nothing, but now my troubles are over, I no longer have to worry about not being able to get my fav effect as a fooger and i have finally entered the magical world of the moogerfooger.

wow this post is long sorry guys, how about i say somthing you might want to hear.

I hooked the CV out of the keyboard of my SH 101 into the Delay Time on the SD
sounds awesome playing the feedback melodically, only the low notes make the pitch higher and the high notes make the pitch lower (is this because it's roland CV or would it happen on a moog synth as well?)

sounds really cool arpegiating the delay time :)
also sounds cool putting the synth through the delay as the keboard CV changes the feedback, so the low notes have more echo than the high notes, i'd like to get the the CP 251 and play around with the inverted output on the mixer

Q: Should i get another MF or the CP 251 first?
What do you think would be more useful combined with the SD?
if it is an MF which one?

Well, considering you only have the delay, I would get either the Phazer(MF103) or the Ring Modulator (MF102). I say this because both of them have LFO's and also, you can put any of these two effects in the insert of your delay pedal, so you will be able to modulate the repeats....As far as getting the CP251, I would wait until you have at least two or three MF's.

I would recommend the Ring Mod. You can get square or saw wave out to the Delay. Plus it produces some great tremolo and of course there's the crazy ring mod sounds.

That's funny because that is what he said to me. So there are 3 + units in Australia ( I have #29 ) ? I guess we are both suckers :P

Still....nice pedal.

that's so funny!!
wonder how many he did get?
but i don't care at all, such a cool device, not so much a delay pedal but a delay synth.
in fact it's more of a multi effects unit

- delay (obvious)
- overdrive (boost up the drive control)
- reverb (it does sound like reverb at some settings)
- chorus (if you expand it with another (LFO equipped) moogerfooger)
- all the other crazy effects it can do that there isn't a name for!

prize, how much did you pay for yours? what sort of power adapter did you get with yours? mine keeps falling out of the unit because the plug isn't long enough any thoughts solutions for this?

probably too much :P
btw. I love overdriving it and putting it through the moog filters. Smooth and warm distortion.

yeah the power does seem a bit loose. Though I have yet to gig it so haven't had a problem. Sticky tape ? :)
