Dan Fertita of The Dead Weather is used to playing the Phatty through a Fender combo, IIRC.

Vids of their live shows will tell you. Try the song Treat Me Like Your Mother.

If I'm not recording DI or running the voyager through a MarkBass amp, I like running it through my Fender Champ 600. Gives it a good, sizzling bite!

Sizzling bite sounds perfect!! But Im running my phatty straight into my interface. All internal sound..

I have a questions I was hoping you could shed some light on..

In regards of producing crispy crunchy high frequencies, how would you compare it to a "traditional warm analog sound"?? Does it "muffle" the sound a bit? Unlike, say the sherman filterbank which is very raw in the higher frequencies..
