Newbie to the moog generation

Post by deetr » Wed Apr 18, 2012 8:48 am

Hi,

My name is Deetr and I've just bought a second handed Little Phatty Stage II..
Everything is working fine (and sounding awesome !!) BUT...

First, the setup..
Mac Pro OSX 10.6.8
Logic 10.1.7
Little Phatty Vers: 2.0 OKE .. Version 3.1 (just did the firmware upgrade)

My Problem:

My phatty is controlling my logic panning, volumes etc..
AND I just think I found the solution in the new firmware:
Send MIDI CC's: NONE ?? Is this the right solution ?

Thnx, in advance
Quite a strange debut I make here but who cares :p

In Logic go to Settings>Midi>Input Filter.
Disable Control Changes & System Exclusive.
Done.

You said you are running Logic 10?

Peace out.

Ok thanx !! The control changes and Sysex setting are checked in the input filter settings.

So it works both:

1. Send no CC's from Little Phatty
2. Input filter settings.

Now I don't what's best ? I'm guessing the input filter settings in Logic.

Again: Logic 9.1.7 :)

Well did you try it? All I did was filter those parameters and I had no problems when turning dials on the SP that muted parts, or messed with the pan settings....although it also disables the mod wheel messages from my MIDI controller, so I need to allow for Control Changes for that to come back into effect.

I think the 'send no CC's ' setting on the little phatty works best for me..
