No GX-1? That would be MY first choice, but maybe you're looking at affordability?

I was looking for: 1- availability, and 2- portability... If you can call a 200 pounds CS80 portable...

But the GX-1 at 2000+ pounds  would be too much even for my bedroom floor...

Info on the net shows the GX-1 alone is about 680 pounds, the pedals add another 80. Each of the Tone ( Speaker) cabinets are about 310 pounds each... A few of the users ( Keith Emerson for one ) did not use Yamaha's speakers with it or the pedals. The GX-1 can make some great sounds. Very few made, reports have it anywhere from 10 to a few hundred. Oh, you say you want the bench...add 160 pounds.

To come back on topic, just came up from the studio playing my Model D, Voyager, LP and other fun toys. Maybe I'll record next time :) .
