Have some problems with interfacing my MFOS 10-step sequencer to my Multimoog.
So how I have it set up is: MFOS Trigger Out->Multimoog S-Trig In. Using a 1/4 stereo to Cinch Jones plug cable. and MFOS CV 1/2 Out->Mutlimoog OSC In.
The problem I'm having is that as soon as the Trigger out gets plugged in the synth is being continuously triggered, it plays a note until the cable is unplugged, and what I would expect to do to solve this is by turning the Gate switch off on the step thus not triggering that step. The problem is that with my Multi, the Gate Switches don't respond!
I know the sequencer works fine because I've plugged it into my friends Korg Mono/Poly the same way and everything works perfectly!
I've tried Gate Out->S-Trig In with the same results.
I WANT TO SEQUENCE MY MULTI!!
Can anyone think of why I'm having this problem? I'm assuming it all has to do with the S-Trig input. I need a solution though!

Re: Multimoog with MFOS Sequencer
S-Trig...right. S-Trig is also known as SWITCH trigger. So, you can't expect it to work with V-Trig, or VOLTAGE trigger, gear like modern synths. You need a V-trig to S-trig adapter cable.
If you know schematics, and are good with soldering, here's a diagram: http://www.retrosynth.com/docs/trigger/triggermod.gif The 3904 is a very common general purpose transistor, so if you have a 2222 or similar instead, it should work as well. Or any tech in your area should be able to hook you up, if you can't do it yourself.
