Silent Way - outstanding!

Post by d s murray » Mon Mar 05, 2012 12:40 pm

I recently got Silent Way, which I'm using with a Motu Ultralite Mk3. I'm shocked by just how much you can do with this software. I don't have a modular, but I'm controlling my Voyager RME and Slim Phatty and a couple of foogers with it. Right now I've got the SP routed thru the RME to give me a fat 5 osc monosynth, everything controlled by CV/Gate.

I already had a CP-251, but the money I blew on the Motu & Silent way was worth it for this use alone. It's a bonus that I have 10 balanced audio outs to play with.

I recommend this to anyone with CV inputs to play with...

For a second I thought you were praising this:

Which is very worthy of praise.

Oh that's also great, although I do prefer Filles de Kilimanjaro...

Silent way has been on my list of things to check out. I would have to get the Motu interface or something like it, but I have several other things I have ahead of it. Some day, I suppose.
