Help with MIDI Arp

Post by normank » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:53 pm

So I just got my lP Stage II yesterday, and have been on it since. However I am having an issue with the MIDI Arp. I am running a drum machine into the LP and it is syncing fine, but it is alway arpeggiating. Is it possible to have it only arpeggiate on command? Also, the keys don't sound right when it is making these sounds. I would like to be able to sync to the drum machine, but don't want it to be making constant sound. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hey there,

The arpeggiator is probably set to "Latch" mode. Press the "Enter/Store" button when in the arpeggiator and the arpeggiator will only sound when you play a key (on the screen you will see an "A" for normal arpeggiator mode and a "L" for latched mode - Pressing the "Enter/Store" button swaps between modes).

What do you mean when you say "the keys don't sound right when it is making these sounds"?

I hope this helps!

What drum machine are you using? It's sounds like the drum machine might be sending MIDI notes from its patterns to the Phatty.
