Just about every Rush fan that knows anything about Moog WANTS Taurus, so it's no accident that we were drawn here.
This has been out for a while I guess so apologies if it has already been posted, but I just found it while looking at some Taurus stuff on YouTube. Apparently, some hackers found a way to lift these near-raw tracks from the Rock Band game.
This is of course, somewhat off-topic as it was before Taurus was put into full swing having just been released the year prior but it really makes you appreciate Ged's bass playing and vocal prowess.

Slightly off topic, but i was always under the impression the opening synth "swoosh" on 2112 was a Moog Tarus, but recently someone said it was infact an arp odessey...whats your call?

It was a guy named Hugh Syme fiddling with an Arp 2600 synth in the studio.Monger wrote:Slightly off topic, but i was always under the impression the opening synth "swoosh" on 2112 was a Moog Tarus, but recently someone said it was infact an arp odessey...whats your call?

Ged didn't get into the synths until the next album.
