Hello
I have already ask before to get info from Mr Bucki.
Every time I see the empty place that I have in my modular (I had this place for an Moog filter already paid nearly 3 years ago) my face change in a bad way and I start to think how hell is possible that no one can get in contact with him ???'
Really : no one can give any news ? ¿ has he go outside this planet???
Sorry to be so cynical but I feell really like an idiot considering that Mr Bucki has 1000 $ form me since neary 3 years (moog modular filter + moog modular manual).
Regards
Jan

I was thinking about this the other day before the thread popped up again. In December it will be two years since I have heard from him.
I I'll bet that friend requests also go unanswered.

But...instead of looking for answers here....you people need to look for answers elsewhere. Either you are willing to contact a lawyer, send a notarized letter, or this thread will go on forever with nothing resolved.

All the info that we have has been posted in the two MB threads on this forum. Do a google search for him. His info is out there.

Having said all of that I do sympathize with anyone who has been burned by him.

People may have trusted Mike because he was previously employed by Moog Music, whose name is highly reputable.
It's therefore important to keep people aware that while Bucki used to work for an older Moog Music company, it was decades ago and not the current Moog company active today.

A Google search returns this very forum and thread as its first hit for his name and this is the official Moog forum.
For all we know, some people that got ripped off might have been convinced to send him money by reading praise for him here.
But if this thread dies down, the other threads here offering praise for Bucki might be found on Google or elsewhere before this one.
People might send him more money depending on which thread they read first.

I see no problem in letting others, especially those harmed, keeping this thread alive.
People that got ripped off might have a different mindset than "sympathy" provides for.
There's no need to dictate or suggest how others should behave.

Its just my opinion but I can not found any better place to let know my (every few time) personal frustration about this already long problem and also it will to "easy" to stop this in the benefits of Mr Bucki ".Simply I d´ont want to do this. To be clear the money is an issue but nothing compared the way that Mr Bucki has treat his costumers like me ( I have already buy stuff from him in the past).
As many/most other people I have been in trouble in the past but that has not stop me to send and give an good & logical feedback to everybody. So for me there are no excuses (even in personal situations) to dissapear for 2 years + and not get the time to send an small email. Finally if this can help that NO other people can fall in the same situation again I will be happy.
Again and again : I am convinced that if we continue to follow this matter we will win something sooner or later.
Mr Bucki : make you a favour and simply take a few time giving us news and sending our stuff already paid .
Now I stop............(sorry for my attitude because its not my style but.....

Just want to keep this post alive and remind anyone who is considering sending their equipment to Mike Bucki / Modusonics that he is a crook that has stolen our equipment and or scammed our money.

I want to make sure this stays at the top of Google searches and am considering making a new post titled "Mike Bucki is a Crook" to get the point across in the search engine results.

Don't want to go overboard on this but I do want to make sure he doesn't scam any more people.

They should hire this guy to train Ninjas - I've never seen such an effective act of invisibility and non-contactability.

The only thing you need to do is take him to court.
File a lawsuit in his county of residence in small claims court and you can represent yourself, or you can pay a lawyer a few thousand to possibly get a judgement.
Getting a judgement and collecting the judement are two different things, which would likely require a lawyer to do.

Have an attorney write a letter threatening a lawsuit, and then follow through on said suit.

Don't let a statute of limitations screw yourselves out of your property.

You can also contact the New York Atty General and maybe you can get some action that way.

I recently consulted an attorney about something very similar to this. The thing about it is that Mike has the advantage over you because he lives distant from you, he has your property and or your money, so he is basically holding the strings in the sense that it's going to cost you time and money to physically appear in a New York courtroom.

He will continue to be in absentia until the courts are involved.

It is good to use this thread to spread awareness about Mike Bucki's customer service, but it's going to take legal action against him to move forward.

For the record I am going to go back and delete any references I have made here encouraging people to do business with him so as not to contradict the mission of this thread.

It sounds like there might even be enough people and liability on Mike's part to put together a class action against him.

I'm not involved with, nor do I know much about him. But from what I've read, if he's having personal problems, the proper thing to do would have been to send all the equipment that he was supposed to fix back to each respective owner, along with a sorry note explaining briefly why he could not proceed with the repairs.

His reputation would not have been affected, as people can surely understand things don't always happen the way you would like in life.
Unless he's an unscrupulous person and doesn't really care about what happens to the property of others ?

Jeez, how many fire hydrants did you paint? You must have been high constantly from the fumes. Hope it wasn't lead paint.
