found this MLS demo on the "tube". It's coming from a guitarist looper perceptive. I would love to hear the MLP in a more ambient/electronic minded setting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9pG9W0L8MI
Nice to hear the sustain.
May peace be your guide

Yes Beautiful studio Mike. Please post a little video of the wonderful moog lap-steel.
I contacted Moog people the other day, there's about a two month wait for the MLS at this point.
May peace be your guide

"2 month wait"

Actually, they are built once ordered, it takes about 2 months.

This might be a bit challenging for the delayed-satisfaction-challenged-crowd (like me ;-). As I stumbled into buying the first one, it took a bit longer but the folk at Moog (particularly Linda Lafferty who baby-sat the whole process for me) were just great to deal with.

However, one really great result is that you can have it built to your specifications.

So if you have something in mind (or even if you do not) it might make sense to get in touch with Wes Lambe ( http://www.wlguitars.com/home ). He is the fellow making the bodies and seems quite happy to do whatever customization you'd like at reasonable rates. While you are at his site, have a look at his other (beautiful) work.

So, in fact, perhaps you want to wait even longer for that special inlay or some variation on f-holes, or some wood, perhaps different tuning machines (I wonder if banjo tuners could be fit, that would allow some real-time retuning)

If I were doing it again....
