Chaining pot mappings?

Post by optimusrob » Fri May 20, 2005 4:17 pm

Please don't light me up if this is too obvious, but are pot mappings chainable? Meaning if I set up:

PM#1: Mod Amt to Filter Cutoff
PM#2: Filter Cutoff to Filter Resonance
PM#3: Resonance to Spacing
PM#4: Spacing to Volume

Will the Mod wheel then affect the filter cutoff, resonance, spacing, and volume? If it would, seems like a way to get more mileage out of your mappings...you know, instead of (which wouldn't accomplish half of that, b/c none of the other parameters would be mapped together):

Mod Amt to Cutoff
Mod Amt to Resonance
Mod Amt to Spacing
Mod Amt to Volume

Thanks for your thoughts!
